About
Laura Canu is the Founder and Creative Director of House of Morphosis. Over the past decade, she has led and contributed to high-end residential and hospitality projects within internationally renowned design studios across Europe and Southeast Asia. Projects she has been involved in have been featured in leading international publications, including Arquitectura y Diseño, Design Anthology, Amazing Architecture, ArchDaily, Dezeen, ELLE Decoration, and other prestigious design media.
Throughout her career, Laura has developed extensive expertise in furniture, materials, bespoke design and luxury procurement. Her work has provided privileged access to the headquarters, showrooms and manufacturing facilities of some of the world's most respected design brands, including Minotti, Molteni&C, B&B Italia and internationally renowned furniture and kitchen manufacturers.
Beyond the products themselves, these experiences led to long-standing relationships with internationally recognized designers, artists, artisans and master craftsmen, creating a trusted global network of creative talents and industry leaders. This unique ecosystem allows House of Morphosis to connect clients with exceptional creators and highly exclusive collaborations that extend far beyond conventional sourcing.
After relocating to Bali, Laura expanded this expertise by working closely with Indonesia's finest artisans and manufacturers, developing bespoke furniture, prototypes and custom-made pieces across wood, metal, natural stone and handcrafted materials. Over the years, she has built a trusted network capable of meeting the highest international standards while preserving the authenticity of local craftsmanship.
House of Morphosis was founded from this unique combination of international design knowledge, an international creative network and deep local expertise. Rather than imposing a signature style, the studio curates, develops and sources highly bespoke pieces that reflect each client's vision through exceptional materials, craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
True luxury is never about excess. It is about creating something that exists for one person, and one place only.
